Services

- Experience where it matters: All our sales employees are very knowledgeable in the ceramic tile and stone industries. Our staff is here to help you coordinate and design the right look for your environment. If you have any questions, please feel free to call and speak with a salesperson.

- Free loan of samples: We provide free loan of samples of in stock merchandise to our customers so that the tile can be viewed in its natural setting. Some special order and designer tile concept boards require a refundable deposit.

- We do not provide direct installation service but will gladly recommend a reputable tile installer for any customer who needs one. UCTD works with some of the best tile installers in the greater Hartford area.

- Delivery Service: If picking up your tile is a problem, UCTD will bring it to you for a small delivery charge of $75. We will deliver to your home, business, or job site. Delivered material is pallet drop only in a garaged area and must be scheduled in advance.

Return Policy

- Returns available for 30 days on in stock material only. Subject to a 15% restock charge.

- No returns on special orders.

- No returns on closeout material.

- Absolutely no returns on setting material and grouts.

- Full carton returns only (it is always good to keep a few extra tiles). As a convenience Universal Tile will break up cartons for our customers. This means you don’t have to buy full cartons like the way some of our competitors sell their tile. This is mainly on in stock material only. Some special order material is required to be purchased in full cartons. In stock deco's, listello's, and bulnose are sold by the piece and can be returned within 30 days.
